Dr. Handong Chen is a member of Mei & Mark LLP's elite technical advisors team. Previously, Dr. Chen was a Postdoctoral Research Associate for a Nobel Prize winner, Professor A. J. Leggett of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

In connection with patent prosecution, analysis, and litigation, Dr. Chen provides technical guidance in the technical fields of nanophysics, superconductors, semiconductors, solid state quantum computers, and circuit design.

Dr. Chen is a theoretical condensed matter physicist focusing on the following subjects: high temperature superconductivity, frustrated spin systems, topological order and topological quantum computation, and strongly correlated systems in atomic, molecular, and optical (AMO) physics.

Dr. Chen is an author of numerous research articles, referee for several leading peer review journals, and recipient of multiple research awards.
